Have you ever seen heavy metal music performed in a small coffee shop? I performed an open mic night to demo some of my bands progressive metal songs to a backing track. The Conduit starts performing live as a group August 29th. What better way to promote it than to get some coffee shop commercials made?
We kept this event secret so we could get it on film with little interference; although, I was glad to have people there enjoying the show. Austins Coffee was packed with people who just came to grab some food. After the show, it was cool to see how many people love to support heavy metal music at what seems to be a more acoustic group friendly coffee shop.
If you need to get some guitar play-through footage made or simply just demo your bands music in a simple manner to a coffee shop audience I would highly suggest making a quick backing track with drum and bass and then coming to Austins Coffee shop of Orlando, Florida. Everyone is profoundly open minded and nice. I got a vegan chicken sandwich here before the show and it tasted amazing. The beer was cheap too, so this is an all around awesome shop!
Thanks for all the support to everyone who came out to eat a sandwich!
Also, thank you to the girls who said my performance reminded them of Tosin Abasi. I didnt think anyone around there would know who animals as leaders was:)
