Apparition is about possession and the desire to inflict pain upon yourself that it could instill in impressionable minds. Contemporary religion and even some yoga practices can diminish the ego and cause one to be more receptive to harmful energies. Despite what popular media and modern religion may preach, the ego is essential and empowers the spirit if focused correctly. The ego should grow in union with your sense of empathy and love for existence.  This is the instrumental version of The Conduits progressive metal - djent single, Hell Hound. I used Waves Mercury to mix and master the recording, toon-tracks superior drummer to assign sound to midi from drum performance, Waves GTR 3 to put effects over DI clean guitars, and pro tools as a host software. These are all great softwares and vsts if you don't mind your recordings sounding really grainy and digital. I kind of like this sound.

The video is definitely inspired by the movie ENTER THE VOID. This song is about a bad state of mind I had having and induced paranoia at a friends house;) It was brutal as fuck. I wrote, recorded, mixed, and mastered the song at the studio with A I Media then made this quick lyrical video to get it out in cyber space. The whole process took about two weeks. Hope you enjoy the lyrics! I posted them below just incase you miss any. The guitar work is pretty technical so keep engaged and listen for it.
